Congratulations to Wayne State University Math Corps on being selected for the 2026 Award for Mathematics Programs that Make a Difference by the American Mathematical Society!
Math Corps is transforming lives, built on a philosophy of “loving and believing in kids” and a unique “kids-teaching-kids” model, supported by college students and mathematicians. This has significantly boosted test scores and retention rates among participants, with 84% of students enrolling in college after participating in the program.
